By applying for Broadband and/or Voice Services, Customer has read and understands the terms and conditions related to the lease or use of Company Provided equipment and agrees to be bound hereby. Terms and conditions may be modified by RIVR Tech at any time, and current terms and conditions can be found on the company’s website at, www.rivrtech.net/. Additionally, Customer understands that any equipment not purchased from the Company is considered leased, and is expected to be returned to the Company immediately upon cancellation or termination of services. Charges for equipment will be billed immediately to the Customer’s account upon cancellation or termination of services. To receive a full refund, the equipment must be returned to the Company within ten (10) calendar days; for a partial refund it must be returned to the Company prior to the twentieth (20th) calendar day. After twenty (20) calendar days, there is no refund for the return of equipment. To be eligible for a refund, in addition to the return time limitations, the equipment must also be in the original working condition, minus any normal wear and tear. Any equipment that is returned that is determined to be damaged, inoperable, or outside of normal wear and tear use, will not be eligible for refund of charges.

I understand that I have the opportunity to purchase a battery backup option to extend the life my service in the event of a power outage. Battery backups, or power supplies, are not provided as part of service. Additionally, I understand that Fiber Networks require power at your premise in order for the service to work. I also understand, that if I subscribe to voice service, without a power source, I would be unable to make calls, including for emergency assistance.

I understand that RIVR Tech participates in the ACP broadband discount program, and that eligibility is determined through a third-party. Additionally, I understand that I am not automatically enrolled for the ACP discount, if eligible, but rather that I will contact RIVR Tech to complete the enrollment and verification process.
